Tokai Talbo 1980’s - aluminum body, Black sparkle MIJ DEVO

Rare and very cool guitar here, as popularized by Ohio legends and top notch weirdos Devo. Guitar is all original as far as I can tell.

Guitar is set up and plays excellent. All electronics function well, I’d describe the sound as somewhere between fender and rickenbacker, but with more sustain on tap. Frets are in great shape. This one is tons of fun to play.

Cosmetically, the black sparkle paint is subtle but just sparkly enough to notice. I love it. I would rate this excellent were in not for a small chip on the base of the guitar, as well a paint bubble (tried to show in third picture but hard to notice). The bubble just north of the end of the neck on the bass side) is a little bigger than a quarter sized, and moves when you press down on it, but I’m sure could be stabilized in the right hands.
