Sundown SD1000H 80’s

Here is a rare and in virtually perfect condition Sundown SD1000H guitar amp. It is loaded with 2x 6550 power tubes and tops out at 100 watts. This is a unique amp made by one of the original minds behind Ampeg. The first/clean or Green channel has a push/pull channel switch on the gain pot and hi and low tone controls and the second or red channel is where the magic lies. It has a push/pull gain with boost, a master volume for both channels, hi-mid-low tone controls with a push/pull low boost. The governor knob is an attenuator knob that’s built in. The RMS knob is something special, it can take your amp from 5w to 100w with the turn of the knob. So get crushing tube distortion and saturation at low wattage with the volume cranked, or maximize your clean headroom with the volume and gain rolled back and the rms knob at 10! OR push it to the limit and just turn it all to 10 and jam! There is no impedance switch, it adjusts internally and can take any load down to 4 ohms. It has fx loops for each channel, master presence and reverb knob on the back, preamp and power amp inputs 2 speaker inputs and a plug to plug in your pedalboard or another amp. This thing is absolutely amazing and I hate to sell it but it just doesn’t get as much use as it should.
