About This Listing

Here is my 1992 Gibson ES-175 in Vintage Sunburst with the original hard-shell case. This guitar is in good condition, and in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings, finish checking, and a surface level crack on the top side of the guitar. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7.5 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case is in very good condition and works great.

Product Overview
With a fully hollow body and sharp Florentine cutaway, the Gibson ES-175 stands out as an all-time iconic jazz guitar. The ES-175 has seen some variation over the years, with different pickup and hardware configurations coming in and out of the Gibson lineup. Although the ES-175 is noted as a jazz guitar, it has also been embraced by rock players like Yes' Steve Howe who has a signature model. With more contemporary models, the quality of the flame on the Maple top can increase the value.
