This is a very rare Gibson J-180 Everly Acoustic in natural.
Manufactured in 1967 we have here is an amazing original example of a Gibson Everly Brothers Flat top model J180 in factory Natural.
The overall condition is excellent for its age, With just some light marks and dings here and there. The body finish is in good condition throughout when compared to other examples, Along with the two four-ply pickguards that are also in exceptional condition.
The frets are good with plenty of life, the playing action is very nice and the tone produced is exactly what these guitars are famous for, it is stunning. Bound Spruce top and Walnut colour back and sides.
The neck is slim, made from Mahogany and the top nut is 40mm. The back of the headstock has been signed by Albert Lee.
The Gibson Everly Brothers is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever produced, with its curvy, jumbo body and long, flowing double pickguards. While it was initially produced in a black finish, a natural finish became optional in 1963, there were less than 500 made by Gibson.
