Samick KR660-AC Mid 1990s Acrylic 'Foo Fighters'

This is a spectacular vintage Samick KR660-AC Ice Cube Acrylic Electric Guitar. It’s rare. It’s clean. It’s really cool. My lovely wife got this for me in 2003 and I’ve loved it from the first day I got it. Never been on stage or played ‘out’. I’ve used it sparingly in the studio and hang it on the wall.

All gold hardware. Gold plated Switchcraft type output jack for best performance and durability. Floyd Rose locking tremolo system makes the deep dive easy and smooth. Deluxe tuning keys with tension adjustment. Three pickups with a 5-position switch give you all sorts of different tones and timber. A coil tap switch toggles between frosty and heavy and provides a lot of tone variation. There’s not a sound you can’t achieve!

The sustain is unsurpassed, if that’s what you’re looking for, and the neck is super-fast maple with a rosewood fingerboard with big frets.. Did I already say this is a sustain monster?

The best that my research indicates is that this guitar’s serial number – 4081122 – follows the YMMPPPP format… Y=year (1994); MM = Month (August); PPPP Production volume (1122nd guitar).

This guitar is in excellent shape with all its parts including the nut lock and screws. There aren’t many left!
