Here for sale we have a Washburn WLO12SE electro-acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Built in China in 2017, this Orchestra body guitar features a solid Mahogany top, laminate Mahogany back and sides, cathedral peaked scalloped-X bracing, a 20 fret Mahogany neck, an Ovangkol fingerboard, along with a Fishman Presys II 301T preamp system with controls for volume, treble, bass, phase, and an onboard tuner.
The satin finish neck plays well, having polished to a semi-gloss through previous use. It offers a smooth and comfortable playing surface, with a moderate profile that the vast majority of players will get along with. The timeless Orchestra body style is a lovely medium size, perfect for players who don't want a guitar as cumbersome as a dreadnought, but don't want to compromise on depth of tone and dynamic response.
The WLO12SE has a well balanced voicing, with a warm low end, a tight yet smooth midrange and a clear and precise high end that offers brilliant clarity. The guitar resonates very well and is responsive to dynamics, feeling sensitive to the player’s touch. This is enhanced wonderfully by the Fishman pickup system, which provides just enough control to shape your tone to any playing situation without overwhelming you with knobs and sliders. Overall an excellent workhorse guitar at an affordable price.
