About This Listing

Here is this 1927 Weymann Style A Orchestra banjo with the unique megaphonic rim. Scale length is 21 7/8", 11" rim, 1 1/8" nut width. It has a recent Elite fiberskyn head and a modern 5/8" tall bridge. Besides the head and bridge, this appears to be all original. One of the retainer clips on the removable resonator has a small piece missing, but it still functions great without. There are small dings and scratches throughout, but no real damage. There was a small 2" split on the side of the resonator that is repaired and stable. The frets have light pitting. It currently has action at 1/8" at the 12th fret, but could easily be lowered or raised with a different bridge/setup.

It comes in the original hard case.
