Ashbury A160e Natural Electro Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have an Asbury A160e, a single-cut electro-acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. These affordable guitars offer players a great quality instrument, which will suit home practice or stage use for a reasonable price. The A160e features a solid Engelmann Spruce top, Mahogany neck, Rosewood back and sides, a Rosewood fingerboard and a Fishman Isys preamp. This guitar looks fantastic as well with attractive Maple binding on the body and fingerboard, striking rosette and gold plated die case with black soft feel covers.

Ashbury have designed this guitar with folk guitarists in mind, with a 000 body size perfect for fingerpicking. This body is a very comfortable size, not feeling too cumbersome thanks to how narrow it is, but still offering a full tonal range thanks to the width of the upper and lower bouts.The neck has a very pleasing slim profile meaning that playing comfort is at a premium.

The Solid Engelmann Spruce top gives the guitar a clear and punchy sound, making sure that each note is accentuated when fingerpicking. The Ashbury A160e has a Fishman Isys pre amp installed, with a flexible 3 band EQ with a notch filter, mic blend and phase switch along with a built-in tuner. This guitar would be ideal for a vocalist looking for an affordable electro-acoustic to accompany them on open mic nights or for small gigs.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock:

Overall very good condition. The front face of the headstock presents light scratches visible under direct light. All other aspects of the headstock show minimal sings of use.

Neck:

Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck presents indentations felt under the finger at the 2nd-3rd fret area, these are also visible under direct light. There is also a scratch at the heel of the neck at the 12th fret area. The fingerboard presents minimal signs of use. 

Body: 

Overall very good condition. The front face of the body presents hazing of the finish consistent with playing on the treble side of the sound hole, the treble side edge of the body also shows scratches which are visible under direct light. The rear face of the body presents multiple minor indentations which appear as small pocks in the wood visible under direct light. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets show moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Moderate indentation of the frets is noticeable through the 1st-6th. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Truss Rod:

Fully functional and can be adjusted. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware Condition:
