Fender Custom Shop 1966 Jazzmaster Relic in Fiesta Red

This is a beautiful guitar that captures my favorite era of Fender instruments. The binding and electronics were cutting edge in Jazzmasters at this time, and this particular guitar plays like an absolute dream. With that said, I don't play it enough and it deserves someone who will use and appreciate it more. The guitar is in perfect working condition and is ready to ship.

The Jazzmaster was actually the first Fender production guitar to feature a Rosewood instead of Maple fingerboard. The Fender Custom Shop has produced a huge range of instruments, often limited in number, which reflect its original mission as a link between the needs of specific players and the Fender corporation and their established designs and innovations as a whole. First and foremost, the Custom Shop creates one-off products, not explicitly intended for the public, designed to meet the needs of specific artists.
