About This Listing

Performer 2P G2 Dreadnaught Acoustic Guitar

Comfort and class, this guitar has it all plus a smooth sound. Our most popular guitar, it plays as fast as it looks.  The 2P G2 (Performer) integrates the latest and best features to come out of our custom shop such as Skeletized Bracing, Double Reaction Bridge Top and Back X-Bracing, Neck Thru Adjustable neck, Truetonation system, Diffuser Disc, Free Floating Top, and Sideport. The top is a natural blend of Engelmann and Sitka Spruce called Lutz spruce from Canada’s Skeena Valley. This top has the power of Engelmann and the warmth of coastal Sitka. The back and sides are AAA Black Walnut. Fretboard is walnut with maple inlays. Below the fretboard is a luscious torrified flame maple neck.  The torrification process closes the cells, turns the maple into a rich brown and makes it resonate like an aged piece of wood. The integrated tone ring on the top gives a relief cut around the entire perimeter allowing it to resonate freely. This guitar has a rich dark sound that blooms evenly. The dual comfort cuts on the top and back make this the most comfortable guitar to play.
