About This Listing

Fender Bullet Deluxe
* 1981

Here is an opportunity to own a Vintage Instrument at an affordable Price. This 1981 Fender Bullet Deluxe has that fender vibe as soon as you take hold of the neck. The Fender Bullet was produced between 1981 -1982.

Unfortunately, someone has painted over the original finish at some point in its life as you can see from the pictures. It does show wear and chipping of the finish, but the price is reflective of these issues.

Still plays and sounds Great and is presently setup with 010-052

Product Overview
The original Bullet used a Telecaster-style single cutaway body shape, and was available either as the Bullet, or the Bullet Deluxe. The standard Bullet featured an anodized steel pickguard that also served as the backstop of the top-load bridge. The Bullet Deluxe had a plastic pickguard with a standalone, string through, hardtail bridge, and was available with two single coil pickups (the Bullet Deluxe), two humbuckers (the Bullet Deluxe II), or three single coils (the Bullet Deluxe III), though examples of the II and III in the single-cutaway body configuration are rare. In late 1982, the body was redesigned to more closely resemble a Stratocaster, and was also available in a variety of different pickup configurations.
