1960's Egmond 12-String Acoustic Guitar - Sunburst, Made in Holland.

Here we have for sale a beautiful 1960's Dutch made Egmond 12 string acoustic guitar.

One of the best Egmonds I've seen, this one is obviously based somewhat on a square-shouldered Gibson Dove model from the 1960s - with the addition of 12 strings.

Interestingly, this one has a short scale - it's not "small" by any means, but it makes for a compact and easy-to-play 12-string format.

The action of this guitar is phenomenal for a vintage 12 string - comfortable and low to the fretboard. Urme normale de uzura

Structurally perfect with no obvious tears or damage - just cosmetic wear commensurate with over 50 years of gentle play.

This is a great player, thanks to the low action and fixed bridge (so no string slippage!). The guitar has an adjustable neck with a screw to the body, including the trussrod. It has installed 6 new gauge strings (011-052) configured and setup with good action and intonation.

Nice sunburst finish on the body and large Egmond logo on the head.
