Very rare Fandel Violin Electric Guitar. Made in 1967, Japan, These guitars gave Hofner a run for their money. Designed in Boston Massachusetts USA, many luthiers say these were built better and sound better than Hofner guitars(Vintage sell for 4K plus). This guitar has that 60's tone that you can only achieve with a guitar over 50 years old. The soap bar P-90 style humbuckers pickups sound fantastic. The neck is straight and has low action. Great guitar for a guitarist or collector. It is very old(checking), and has knicks and bumps all over(see photos for condition)but sounds and looks cool. Has selector switches that dials in that special sound your trying to achieve. It has two volume switches that operate each pickup(I thought it was an error until I did my research) independently. No breaks or repairs on the neck. The guitar has had new Ernie's installed! Comes in a fitted hardcase. I will ship the same business day! Oh, and it has a whammy bar which usually is always missing!
*NOTE*
Harris-Fandel was one of the large wholesalers back in the day(1960's). Located in USA Boston, MA, the company served the large part of New England with many guitar brands including Kay, Danelectro, and Supro. This guitar was designed in USA BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS. Fandel then imported their guitars from Japan.
