This classic Fiesta Red Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster has GOLD hardware. The gold hardware really establishes it as something very special. It's drop dead beautiful.

You’re likely to find hard to believe that the Certificate of Authenticity actually dates it February21, 2001 (s/n R13073). While you might be incredulous with the date, you are likely to actually find few very minor scuffs on the 22 year old body. But, not much more than you would find in any dealer’s showroom. But, as I have made clear in the photos with the blue pointer, there is the very smallest of chips on the body on the right side of the base of the neck.

This beauty is perfectly, impeccably, set up.

It was recently professionally refretted with the ends finished to perfection.

The neck was then PLEKed to assure dead accurate string to fret distance over the entire fretboard.

Texas Special pickups have replaced the stock pickups (which are in the case). The Texas Specials are versatile and well-balanced, ideal for blues and rock as they replicate a tone akin to those favored by both Stevie Ray Vaughn and Mark Knopfler.

The three way switch was replaced (it, too, is in the case) with a five way switch installed for more tonal options.

The guitar weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz. with strings.

The depth of the neck at the first fret is 21.35mm and 23.16mm at the twelfth fret.
