Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day received his Fernandes S-style RST-50 as a 10th. birthday present from his Mother.
This faithful reproduction has been painstakingly built to aesthetically match one of the iterations of this famous guitar.
The S-style body has undergone a comprehensive relicing / cosmetic process including the appropriate stickers. A new neck received a similar treatment and new tuning machines.
An authentic Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker has been appropriately added to the bridge position. The neck and middle pickups are functional as is the 5-position switch.
After assembly, the guitar was treated to a full, professional, setup including radiused fingerboard edges, fret end polishing, relief, 1st. and 12th. action adjustments and intonation. It has been fitted with Ernie Ball 9's.
It was built to look fabulous and plays like a dream. This guitar isn't a pre-order it's ready to ship immediately.
