The Martin 000-17 Black Smoke is a uniquely beautiful from the craftsmen in Nazareth, PA that melds vintage stylings and modern aesthetics.
The Auditorium sized body hugs the body while producing a wonderfully balanced tone, with complex harmonics.
This is thanks to the Sitka spruce top that sits on a body of mahogany, for a full and complex tone.
The guitar is finished in a satin Black Smoke finish that is rich and elegant, and lets the wood vibrate freely and age naturally.
The amazing top is framed by a classic cream binding. 
The projection here is very good, but should you need to reach the back of the hall this Martin comes equipped with the Matrix VT system.
This system reproduces the wonderful tone of this instrument, while the Volume, Tone, and Enhance controls are located in the soundhole for easy reach and a clean aesthetic. 
The 14-fret neck is cut from mahogany with a modified oval profile for superb comfort.
