[DISCOUNTED] Guitarras Romero Custom Tenor Ukulele Model-T PROTOTYPE #2

* NOTE - This Prototype #2 had a small piece on the side that came out (about 1/2" by 1/4" big) that happened and was FIXED at the factory. This is why this Prototype is priced much less than Prototype #1. This ukulele is still covered by Warranty and does not effect it's sound or playability. SEE PHOTOS. SOLD "AS-IS"

** NOTE - You will receive the Ukulele in the PHOTOS

*** This is PROTOTYPE #2 (Labeled inside "Prototype #1). This is the ukulele that Pepe Romero Jr and German Master Luthier Wolfgang Jellinghaus used to get the current specs of the Guitarras Romero Custom Ukuleles.

This ukulele is #2 of all the Guitarras Romero Ukuleles.

Although this is a collectors item from one for the finest luthers in the world, Pepe Romero Jr., this ukulele sounds incredible.

This ukulele was designed by Pepe Romero Jr and build by German Master Luthier Wolfgang Jellinhasu

This Guitarras Romero Custom Tenor Ukulele is something special.

This Prototype #1 Model T has a Solid Flamed Maple Top, Solid Flamed Maple Sides and Back, Rosewood top & bottom binding, wood Rosette and Purfling, hand carved Solid Mahogany neck, Ebony Fretboard and Bridge, Bridge Pins, Premium Open Geared Tuners, Abalone Rosette and French Polished.

What is DIFFERENT with this Prototype #2 Model T vs. the production Model T Guitarras Romero Ukuleles?

  • This Prototype #2 has a different headstock
  • This Prototype #2 DOES NOT say Romero on the headstock.
  • This Prototype #2 has an Abalone Rosette
  • This Prototype #2 has a thin black purfling (not the wood Rope design
  • This Prototype #2 Flamed Maple Top (most have Moon Spruce)
  • This Prototype #2 has a wider lower bout depth of 3 Inches (not 2-3/4) and upper bout depth of 2-3/4 Inches (not 2-1/2)

All Model T ukuleles are French Polished, made of the highest grade wood and materials, and only around 10 will be made each year.

Every one of these ukuleles is hand inspected by Pepe Romero Jr to ensure their sound, quality and craftsmanship.

These Guitarras Romero Custom Ukuleles will serve as a bridge between the Romero Creations ukes and Pepe's Custom ukes, although in my opinion they are closer to Pepe's Custom builds.
