Body: Swamp ash (origin: near Fargo, North Dakota, USA, harvested from a fallen tree)
Neck: Mahogany (origin: as above, but from a very old barn)

Plays beautifully. Please note two very small and hard to see scrapes on the reverse of the instrument (probably a belt buckle). They were noticeable to me only under strong light and I've detailed them in the images on this page for you to see.
