This is an early single-cutaway example from the late 1950s/early 1960s era, featuring the simple, lightweight design that made the Melody Maker such a great no-frills Gibson.The guitar has the classic single Gibson Melody Maker pickup, wraparound bridge, two-control layout, narrow headstock, and original-style sunburst finish. It shows honest play wear, checking, scratches, dings, and cosmetic aging consistent with a guitar of this age, giving it a great vintage look and feel.The guitar comes with a hard case as shown.I have not fully verified every component for originality, so please review the photos carefully and feel free to ask for additional photos of the serial number, electronics, pickup, pots, neck joint, or any other details before purchasing. Local luthier inspected and confirmed good condition for age. A very cool piece of Gibson history that would make a great player, collector guitar, or vintage studio instrument.
