Slingerland 5 ply shell Maple/poplar/mahogany 24X14 Bass Drum from the late 70s era in excellent condition. The beautiful black chrome wrap is in fabulous condition glossy and vibrant and really looks great with tight seam and only a few very minor small blemishes. Black chrome is actually a steel wrap and is very unforgiving but this one is in extremely clean condition and is the nicest 24X14 I've seen with this wrap.
The drum sounds awesome the pictures are very accurate in showing the condition of the drum. There are some small rub marks toward the front hoop near the tom tom mount (last picture) presumably from laying sticks across the the top of the bass drum but they are minor and a few other very minor flaws with very light superficial scuffing but this drum is still in very excellent condition and has the aluminized interior lining that was used in the late 70s on some Slingerland Bass drums but is also pretty rare as I have only seen 3 or 4 of these in over 25 years of dealing with vintage Slingerland drums. Questions are welcome and the sale is final with insured shipping. No International shipping!
