Here’s a really cool old stenciled”Cowboy” guitar from 1938. Made by Richter, sold thru Wards. Home on the Range guitars were solid birch,shaded walnut finish, rosewood colored fretboard and ebonized bridge. This guitar has original wooden bridge pins, original tuners and hardware. Really cool graphics, and a surprisingly loud, strong voice. Deep v-shaped neck, plays well all the way to body. The neck does have more relief than you would see in a modern guitar, but still plays and sounds great.
This guitar was lovingly restored in our shop and included repairing and stabilizing cracks, resetting the neck, a new mahogany nut, light fret dressing and setup. A true piece of Americana.
