Module A-135-5 combines a voltage-controlled polyphonic mixer with a polyphonic sub-octave generator. The module consists of 12 VCAs arranged in a 4x3 matrix, allowing for the mixing of up to three four-voice polyphonic sources. Volume control can be manually adjusted or controlled via CV.

Furthermore, the module includes four frequency dividers generating rectangle wave sub-octaves from the four input signals of channel A. Being fully DC coupled, the module can also mix control voltages in a polyphonic setup, making it suitable for envelopes, LFOs, and other control voltage sources.

To facilitate internal connections with other polyphonic modules, the switching contacts of the 12 input sockets and the four outputs are internally linked to pin headers. This enables pre-patching the module internally, such as connecting the four inputs A to an A-111-4 module, the four inputs C to another A-111-4 module, and the outputs to the polyphonic filter A-105-4 module.

However, it is important to note that the internal pre-patching can be overridden by using the sockets on the front panel, allowing for external connections and customization.
