Selling my cherished Peavey T40. If you know about this bass, then you know what a tank it is. A very adaptable, comfortable, tonal powerhouse. This is very much a chameleon of tone, with its own thump. This bass has been professionally set up with flatwound strings, by a certified luthier in Austin, Tx. All original, all electronics work flawlessly, neck is straight with no warping, and sustains for days. Please see pictures for condition of bass. Comes with OHSC. Interior lining is in good shape. Nothing needs to be fixed on this bass. It is ready for tracking sessions, or live performance, or just thumpin away on your couch. I am the second owner of this bass, (which I have had for 7 years). This bass has shaken many honky tonks across central texas for decades. This bass has real road worn charm, that can only come with 45 years of rocking. Original owner did create a different strap mounting point on the bottom of the top horn, which can be seen in picture. I put the strap mount back in original place, but I assume the original owner found that position more comfortable. You've got the options now.
