About This Listing

2011 Ernie Ball Music Man JP7 Pearl Redburst, fully loaded (except for fretboard inlays) with original hardshell case.

Serial #F28001, manufactured January 12th, 2011.

Set up with a brand new set of 9 gauge strings. Neck has minimal relief and low action.

This guitar has seen fairly light playtime. Only a little appreciable fretwear. It was never gigged and usually kept in the case.

There are just some small cosmetic faults, and I could really only notice most of them under very good lighting. There is some minor swirling/scratches in the finish (the majority could likely be buffed out, if desired). I have tried to photograph as critically as possible, and again, this is under excellent lighting.

Electronics tested and function as they should, EXCEPT for piezo. The piezo saddle for the A string is not outputting any sound, and the saddle for the low B string is noisy. A new set of saddles could be ordered and installed from Music Man, but I never had a need to fix it.

Non-smoking household. Please see photos and ask if there are any specific questions.

PLEASE NOTE: The fretboard is rosewood, not ebony, which might be automatically included in the specs by Reverb.

Being a 2011 model, this has nickel frets and the "old style" piezo saddles that hold strings securely for solid tuning stability. The newer, wider style saddles can allow for left-right shifting of the strings, especially when using lighter gauges (look closely at the bridges of 2014-on models, and you will see what I mean).

If you are looking at this listing you likely know how great these feel and play, and the consistency in EBMM's manufacturing. Only selling due to downsizing, and this one just has not gotten a lot of use as I find myself gravitating toward guitars with thicker necks these days. Priced to move, for someone who can enjoy it! No trades or offers, please.

Guitar will ship in original case, well padded, within outer box. Insurance and signature required. I have tried to factor for "long distance" shipping, and will reimburse buyer for overpayment based on final shipping costs.
