Welcome! Right now, you are looking at one of the coolest guitars that's ever blessed my shop.
This is a vintage Mosrite 4x12 Double Neck Electric Bass & 12-String Electric Guitar.
It weighs 12 lbs 8 oz.
Scale lengths - 25" & 31"
Nut widths - 1.62" & 1.76"
Serial - 2J394
Everything appears to be all original, including its case.
Never have I ever seen another example of the bass on top, with a 12-string on the bottom, let alone in the rare Ink Blue.
This bass/guitar just screams '60s innovation.
Nicely flamed maple neck housing a slab Brazilian Rosewood board, bolted onto an alder body.
Controls for neck selector, pickup selector, master tone, master volume.
So many different tons are available here.
Just setup, the necks are straight and the frets are clean show only minor divots.
It's in good overall condition, considering it's around 60 years old. All the normal wear here, marks/scratches, dings/dents, finish chips and wear.
