*Observations: This marvelous guitar is in very good condition. The factory-aged Pelham blue thin nitro finish is stunning, with extensive checking on all surfaces, and the aged nickel hardware looks very realistic. There is light playing wear on the fingerboard and the frets have light wear as well, but no dents or grooves. The original high quality Ameritage case is included. This guitar sounds wonderful, the playability is fantastic, and of course, Collings' workmanship is impeccable as always.

Named for the scenic Highway 290 that winds past the Collings shop though the Texas Hill Country, the 290 is a modern day tribute to the original working man's rock'n roll guitar. A solid mahogany body and neck are complimented by two Lollar Soap Bar P90 pickups for a tone that shows off the amazing harmonic range and dynamics of this often underrated configuration.
