Greco SE-700 Super Sound 1976 - Black

Up for sale we have a 1976 Greco SE700 Super Sound in original Black finish in very good used condition and perfect working order. The guitar shows moderate play wear throughout with dings, dents, scuffs and scrapes around the body as well as a few dings on the neck (please see photos). All of the cosmetic wear from normal use over the years, no cracks, breaks or repairs. The SE700 features a 25 1/2" scale length, solid Alder body, single-ply white pickguard, three original single coil pickups with 2 tone and 1 master volume control, 3-way pickup selector switch, vibrato tailpiece/bridge with 6 adjustable saddles, 1-piece Maple neck/fingerboard with black dot inlaid fret markers, original bone nut and 6-in-a-line Kluson style tuners. The medium sized neck features a comfortable round C-shape profile that sits just on the slimmer side. It measures .80" deep at the first fret and .94" deep at the twelfth fret. Width at the nut measures 1 5/8". The original smaller frets show some play wear with shallow divots on the first 9 frets, but have a good amount of life left. Notes ring clean and clear up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or buzzing. The truss rod is accessible at the heel of the neck and functions as it should. There was a second string tree added at some point but has been removed leaving a small hole. The guitar weighs in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. Overall a great sounding Strat with nicely balanced pickups and beautifully glassy tone, plays like butter. Includes non-original gig bag.
