Ibanez Vintage Solid Body

 Here we have a fabulous and wild piece from Ibanez.  This crazy design could only have come from 1960s Japan, and this piece likely comes from the Fujigen factory due to its “mic 1,2,3” labeling.  This guitar certainly wins serious style points, but it is also quite well made, with a three-piece neck rather than laminate, as was common in ‘60s Japanese guitars.  As far as playability goes, it does take some time to get used to the dramatic horn in sitting position, but when standing it's as natural as anything.  The sound is nice and twangy but the three pick-up switches allow for nice blending and a variety of different tones.  This guitar is in excellent condition, with the only real damage being a small crack in the pickguard near a screw. This guitar represents an entire decade of inspired and uninhibited design from Japan, a must have for any lover of vintage Japanese guitars.  Ships in a hard-shell case.
