This loud loud loud microphone would be a great harp mic and it also has a threaded (narrow) mount at the bottom and felt pad so that it sits well on a desk. The 1950s design has an aluminum grill painted beige.
I haven't taken off the tape at the base. It's probably holding the cord in a favorable position.
This was made by Shure Brothers Incorporated in the USA and sold by Revere camera company with a reel to reel player. These were sold with a proprietary stubby 1/4" plug that is not compatible with modern equipment, but this one has had a modern 1/4" phone plug installed. It's NOT stereo: the signal is on the tip only.
