The National 1224 Tremo-Tone is a ~12 watt all tube tweed style amp featuring 2 6×9 speakers. The circuit can be compared with an early tweed Fender Vibrolux, if one existed. The 1224 Tremo-Tone features octal preamp tubes and tremolo driver. The cabinets are solid finger jointed pine. The tone is distinctly tweed with good thick breakup and touch sensitivity. The Tremolo is deep. The amp was recently serviced, a 3 prong cable was added and it sounds amazing! The filter caps were also replaced. The speaker cones and transformer are original and there are many vintage tubes installed. Please feel free to ask questions and I'll get back to you promptly. This amp is truly great and I'll make its new owner very happy!
