Here is a Late 30's early 40's Gibson EH-100 or 150 Lap Steel Round Neck Electric guitar. Pick up works, the volume and tome controls need attention, they work but need cleaned as they are really tight. Video show all
Serial # FGE 2313
Body - Top bound maple
Neck - Maple
Fretboard - Square-end unbound rosewood, 24 frets
Markers - Dot inlays
Pickup - Straight bar pickup with unbound oblong cream-colored bobbin. This is an original Gibson bar pickup used on steel guitars between Fall 1935 and Spring 1938, 3/8" thick double bar magnets, referred to as a "Charlie Christian" due to his use of the ES (Electric Spanish) electric guitars with a similar pickup.
Finish - Chocolate brown with shaded sunburst top
Other - earliest with control knobs on opposite sides (v2a) - most with volume control and tone controls on treble side (v2b)***this is a v2b
Typical scratching on surfaces. All original parts
Branding - White silk-screened pre-war script
Appears all original, original case usual wear n tear.
