2017 Fender Custom Shop ‘63 Journeyman Relic Sunburst Telecaster

We are pleased to offer for sale this exceptional 2017 Fender Custom Shop '63 Journeyman Relic Sunburst Telecaster. This guitar is a prime example of Fender Custom Shop’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Having never picked up a custom shop piece, I really never got the hype. However, after personally testing this tele, the difference in the ease of playability is very noticeable. 

This Telecaster features a 25.5 inch scale length, 22 frets, and a 42mm nut width; it also features an unbound neck. The guitar's lightweight body, weighing in at 7.5 lbs, makes it pretty standard as far as telecasters go but nevertheless it is still easy to handle and maneuver.

The Sunburst finish is a classic addition to the guitar, with a rich, warm slightly. worn look. As far as the journeyman relicing goes, the only major difference is the sanded neck. The hardware does not look too aged, but the inlays on the neck are stained along with very minimal wear on the finish. Including a set of vintage-style tuners and traditional tele pickups and tone controls. 

The '63 Journeyman Relic Sunburst Telecaster also features a set of vintage-style frets, which provide a smooth, comfortable playing experience. The guitar's neck is made from premium maple, providing a stable, consistent feel that will satisfy even the most discerning players.

In addition, this guitar also comes with a high-quality Custom Shop hardshell case.
