Introducing the Takamine LTD2023 - a special edition guitar that commemorates the 30th anniversary of the iconic Santa Fe model.
Takamine, a pioneer in guitar manufacturing, was one of the first companies to adopt cutting-edge technology, including CNC routers and laser-cutting machines in their production. The result of this fusion of state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship was the creation of the first-ever Santa Fe model, the ESF93. The exquisite design of the rosette on this model set a Brand New trend in guitar craftsmanship, and it has become a part of Takamine’s rich history. After three decades since the birth of Santa Fe, Takamine proudly presents the LTD2023.
The LTD2023 is a masterpiece that perfectly honours the traditional craftsmanship of the past and incorporates the latest technological advancements. The LTD2023 has a NEX cutaway body shape, with a solid cedar top, silky oak sides and solid silky oak back, giving it a warm and balanced tone. The neck is made of mahogany, providing a smooth and comfortable playing experience.
Inspired-by and sonically based upon the famed, early-eighties, 3-slider FET preamp, affectionately referred to as the “Brownie,” the Brand New CTF-2N FET preamp delivers the same warm and natural saturation effect that made it a favourite of legendary artists like Ry Cooder, David Lindley, the Eagles, James Taylor, Jackson Brown, Bruce Springsteen and many others. With modern upgrades like a notch filter and chromatic tuner, the CTF-2N is designed to meet the needs of even the most discerning guitarist.
With its natural gloss finish, this guitar is not only a pleasure to play but is also a true beauty to behold. The exquisite design of the rosette on the LTD2023 is a tribute to the original Santa Fe model, which became a trendsetter in guitar design and manufacturing. The attention to detail in the rosette is a testament to Takamine's dedication to excellence and craftsmanship.
A special commemorative Takamine Santa Fe design guitar strap is included along with a semi-hard case.
