Nashville N55DS *Solid Spruce Top* 1974 - Natural

Tokyo Road presents an extremely rare 1974 Nashville N55DS dreadnought with a solid spruce top, excellent playability, and top notch sound and projection. There is a scarce amount of info on these guitars, but from what we can gather they were made for an American distributor somewhere in the Midwest. Information on the actual manufacturer varies, but it’s obvious they knew what they were doing. This is a bold nod to a Guild D 55 and it fills the bill perfectly. Ply Rosewood back and sides, Solid Spruce top, Gotoh tuners.

The truss rod (located in the sound hole) Turns easily in either direction and is currently adjusted for optimum relief. The frets are in excellent shape, and have great crown with no divots or wonky spots. It plays cleanly up and down the fretboard with low action, but it will buzz if you lean into it. There’s plenty of room to raise the saddle if you prefer higher action. Comes safely packed in the groovy case shown in the photos.
