The solid alder body gives this guitar bright, punchy tone with crisp highs and tight lows. The original Memphis single coil pickups have that vintage snap and twang when clean, and roar with fat overdrive when you crank up the gain.
This guitar is all original except. The cherry red finish still shines beautifully with some expected play wear from its 50+ years. The neck is smooth and fast with great vintage frets. Action is dialed in perfectly for speed and comfort. It plays incredibly up and down the neck.
