For sale is this early ‘70s Made in England Sound City Dallas Arbiter L120 Mk.IV. It’s been serviced a few times by the fantastic Jon at G-Tek in London.
This is one of the models built with Partridge transformers and six EL34s - the amp sounds and work great true to the original design. It’s very loud, and has a decent noise flaw. The effects loop and “sensitivity”(reduced power) switch work well.
The amp sleeve has been repaired with two metal brackets on the inside join shown in the photos - stronger than reapplying wood-glue. The rest of the sleeve is in good condition with no major tears in the tolex, but it shows its age with the expected nicks and marks here and there. You can also see that the finish on the back panel has started to deteriorate, but is still holding together well.
