1995 Gibson USA ES-335 Dot Antique Natural Figured, w/OHSC, Good Wood Era, All Original, Natural Relic 

Available now is a striking, entirely original example from the cherished "Good Wood" era: a 1995 Gibson ES-335 in a captivating Blonde Natural finish. This guitar boasts a remarkably aged patina, enhancing its allure, and is accompanied by its original hard-shaped case.

First and foremost, take a moment to appreciate the naturally aged, lacquer-checked finish on this 335! While we often encounter this characteristic on nitro-finished instruments imported from Japan due to its unique climate, the elegance of this particular example is truly exceptional. The natural finish has gracefully matured into a delightful aged blonde, beautifully complementing the figured maple body.

These instruments are celebrated as part of Gibson's "Good Wood Era," and upon inspection, it's evident why. The highly figured tops and dense rosewood fretboard, rarely found in their contemporary counterparts unless commanding Custom Shop prices, highlight the superior quality control and craftsmanship of that era. A straightforward comparison with a current Gibson USA ES-335 reveals a marked difference in fit and finish.

In terms of condition, our ES-335 is in excellent shape with no breaks or repairs. While there are expected light surface marks and lacquer crazing throughout, these elements contribute to the instrument's aged aesthetic. 

Noteworthy is a cosmetic chip on the rear peak of the bass side of the headstock, but rest assured, it's purely aesthetic and poses no structural concerns. The frets show minimal wear, providing a sleek and smooth playing experience up and down the fretboard.

All original onboard electronics operate seamlessly, and the stock nickel hardware, now modestly tarnished, harmonises with the Gibson's aged appearance. The untouched Gibson '57 Classic Pickups faithfully reproduce the classic PAF pickup, delivering an authentic smooth, creamy tone that the ES-335 is renowned for. This particular piece weighs in at 8.6lbs.

Our Gibson has undergone a clean of the body, fretboard and electronics, though nothing too invasive, as we feel it’s important to not take away from its beautiful patina. It has been setup with a fresh set of 10-46 strings and is ready to go!

Included is the original TKL Gibson Brown ES Shaped Hardcase, which functions perfectly, but has some wear and tear.
