About This Listing

I am offering a rare Samick KR564GPE from 1992, a limited edition double cutaway solid body special model from the Art Series made by the legendary guitar manufacturer Samick in South Korea with an eye-catching superstrat style design, contoured body made of solid alder (3.4kg total weight), bolt-on one-piece maple neck with slim "C" neck profile, bound rosewood fingerboard with elaborate Arrow Head Pearl inlays, versatile Samick ceramic HSS pickups, sophisticated electronics with Coilsplit Mini Switch, tuning-stable Floyd Rose Licensed Double Locking tremolo bridge and spectacular hand-painted 3D Eagle Graphic finish (!) with shiny gold hardware in mint condition including a high-quality Jaeger Deluxe gig bag and professional setup with 9-gauge Ernie Ball strings.

This limited Falcon solidbody special model left the infamous South Korean Samick factory in 1992, comes in an extremely rare edition (just under 150 ever made) and boasts an absolutely unique design. The immediately eye-catching Falcon imprint is three-dimensionally relief carved into the alder body and then decorated by hand in color - incredibly elaborate and still an absolute eye-catcher even after 30 years!

In addition to the breathtaking finish, the guitar comes with high-quality gold hardware and a slim "C"-shaped maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard framed in cream-white bindings, on which artfully decorated arrowhead pearl inlays can be found - and the best thing? The guitar plays just as fantastically as it looks.

In terms of sound, this Superstrat comes with a tried-and-tested HSS pickup constellation with two Samick ceramic single coils and a Samick humbucker at the bridge, which together skillfully cover an extremely wide range of sound options from blues to rock to metal. The pickups provide a powerful, dynamic, beautifully stable tone that leaves nothing to be desired, from crystal-clear clean sounds to assertive lead solos and highly distorted rock riffs. Thanks to the coil split mini-switch and 5-way switch, even more sound options can be created.

A 42.8mm nut width in combination with the 648mm scale length and a low string action ensure pleasant, buttery-smooth playability over the 24 frets, while the Floyd Rose Licensed Double Locking Tremolo allows clean intonation with excellent tuning stability.

This is one of those guitars that can be played at home but just as well at sweaty rock shows or corporate black tie parties... it has that unshakable coolness and the attention of those around you is certain ;)
