About This Listing

Introducing the Gibson Blueshawk: A modern masterpiece that seamlessly blends the rich heritage of blues with innovative features. Crafted in the USA, this semi-hollow body electric guitar delivers versatile tones with P-90 pickups and a Varitone switch. Its slim-taper neck offers effortless playability, while high-quality hardware ensures reliable performance. With classic F-holes and a captivating finish, the Blueshawk is a visually striking instrument built to endure and inspire on any musical journey.

This one is in great shape. We bought it from the original owner. There are some pick scratches on the red finish where a pickguard would be. Other than that, this guitar is very clean. It has been professionally setup and restrung by our tech staff.

Product Overview
For a lesser-known blues machine with a signature style to match, the Gibson Blueshawk delivers in spades with a semi-hollow body design, pair of custom P90 pickups, and a six-way Varitone switch for a world of warmth. Developed and marketed in the mid to late '90s, the Blueshawk fused the smaller shape of a solid body with the open presence of a hollow body to allow players a comfortable feel with a tone that could get big and gritty. One of the more affordable Gibsons on the market, the Blueshawk an American-made diamond in the rough.
