Conklin Groove Tools GT-7 7-String Guitar

Black with chrome hardware (except the black strap buttons).

Excellent/Very Good condition.

2 humbuckers with a push-pull pot to split for single coil.

Notes:

I did a full fret job and setup, as there were a couple of frets that wouldn't sound the notes AT ALL due to poor craftsmanship. I prefer you evaluate in person to determine if you can live with it or not.

(Update #1: To be clearer, the 18th fret may still be a tiny bit high (17th fret has the sounding issue). I may go at it to see if I can gently remove the hair of material necessary in order to make all the notes sound clear. If I do and am successful, the price may up slightly. We'll see if I do it, and how much time it takes. The price reflects the imperfections)

(Update #2: I did go at it and I fixed the fret issue. I examined all uneven frets above the 17th fret and filed & polished each one to make everything level. The guitar is fully functional at this point with no unusable frets or sounding issues. I raised the price a little to pay myself for the work.)

There are a few marks on the fingerboard due to the fret job. (Update: I've uploaded pics of the fingerboard. I caught the fingerboard in the reflection of the afternoon light, so this is quite an illuminating view of the marks, which are not otherwise very visible in normal light and at a glance. The marks were caused during the refret job by the rubber buffing wheel when polishing the frets, which occasionally would slip off the fretwire to quickly touch--and mark--the fingerboard).

There are alternate tuning peg holes on the back of the headstock (had locking tuners at one point).
It is hard to capture pick scratches in pictures, but there are def some.
The guitar actually came with 1 strap button in chrome (which I still have). I swapped it out for two black buttons. If you would rather have the 1 chrome button as opposed to the 2 black buttons, let me know.

Other than that, the guitar is in great shape, plays great, and sounds great. There is a lot of love for these affordable instruments online, with most going in the $450 range (when available). There is a current listing on Reverb for a Conklin "Sidewinder" listed for $3600. First time I've seen one, and it occurs to me that these GT guitars were the Korean production model equivalents.

I would really rather not ship if possible (don't the guitar is worth the price to ship it), but if you really want it, consider the following: given the boxes that are currently available to me, a quick calculation on USPS shows about $165. That doesn't include insurance, though that also doesn't include the possible discount from getting the label here on Reverb. There is also possible tax depending on where you are. If I come across smaller boxes, I might be able to get a better price, but I consider that on the upper end, this will run about $600 to have shipped to you.
