The Duesenberg Black Falken – a black beauty with a classic retro design and an exceptional sound! The solid body made of alder wood with glued-in maple neck and rosewood fingerboard is a guarantee for a direct response, a long sustain and an excellent sound behaviour. The fingerboard has undergone Duesenberg's Plek process, which is a guarantee of perfectly dressed frets. A 12" fingerboard radius, a "Medium D" neck profile and a scale length of 25.5" also ensure a fantastic playing feel. The Duesenberg "Wing" fretboard inlays make the retro feeling even more perfect!

The real highlight of the Black Falken lies in its innovative pickup assembly. The two Duesenberg Split/King Dual Coil pickups differ from conventionally split humbuckers in the way that the basis of the Split/King Dual Coil is a real, full-fledged single-coil pickup that, compared to the usual split humbuckers, can also stand very well on its own. This new development from Duesenberg offers a maximum of versatility and opens up completely new sound combinbations for its player. The individual operating modes are switched using two coil-split switches located on the lower aluminum pickguard. Equipped in this way, the Duesenberg Split/King Dual Coil pickups offer their player a wide and versatile frequency band of interesting sounds. Open, direct and resonant – as if made for friends of authentic retro vibes!
