This is the best travel guitar I have ever owned and one of the best overall guitars of any type (and I own many high end instruments). I put a picture next to a more traditional electric to give a sense of how short the guitar is when packed. (The Parker Fly is not for sale or included in this sale - just there to compare). You can see it over 6” shorter than a normal instrument because of its inverted design. What is brilliant here is that these are standard (well exceptionally good standard) tuners so they do not require any special tools or fiddling and even work find with tools like the roadie automated tuners.

The sides come off to make a very narrow package for travel that is easy to store and carry on for travel.

But really to think of this as a travel guitar is to miss the point. This is an exceptional quality classical guitar for live performances. Yes, not exactly the same as traditional instrument but you can amplify this without any worry of feedback and the tone is exceptional. Mix in with a mixed IR from your favorite instrument or one you can purchase and this sounds amazing. (I will put up some video examples later on YouTube).

It will remind you possibly of the Yamaha silent guitars (which I own two of) and are wonderful instruments as well. But this is not in the same league. Materials, tuners, pickups and electronics, craftsmanship here is all of a master builder hand building a custom instrument Of uncompromising quality for professional use. Also the Yamaha design (which I believe is a copy of Frameworks is not nearly as compact in length or width since both of the sides do not come off the Yamaha.

This is an instrument that Andrew York, Michael Powers, Don Ross, Badi Assad, the Bruskar Guita Duo, … have endorsed. And this is not some big name mass manufacturer who is paying them well to do so.

Why am I selling this if it is so amazing. I bought another. There even higher end Segundo Epoca version with MIDI and I can’t justify two and am selling this one to offset some of the cost of that instrument. Yeah, so I think it is worth what I am asking here and much more. This is not an instrument I played for a bit and got put aside. This is one of the guitars that still gets aloy of my attention. When I am traveling for work, it is the first pick to come along. When I am home late at night and want to practice quietly with still the feel of a traditional but master craft instrument, this is what I play. And if i were playing out this would be what I brought along over any traditional instrument if amplification was involved. The original builder built this guitar. Frank Krocker for health reasons passed on building these guitars to a colleague recently. How his guitar compare I will soon find out. It takes 9 months to have one built and is over $1000 more than I am asking by the time you pay for shipping and import fees.

I would also note that if you look at my other listings you will see I am selling all my other electric/travel nylon string instruments to fund the new Frameworks that is just a few enhancements over this one. This is the last to go sense I got notice it is being shipped to me!!!!

I am happy to answer questions. Specs are below. Many photos included. There is only one place I can see some marks on the guitar of any note and all small. This right around the area of the upper body connection toward the headstock side. All very minor but I wanted to make sure they were noted. My Yamaha‘s new did not arrive this professional looking and clean.

I plan to upload a video soon to just give a sense of the sound. I will do one just raw digital sound capture with only the pickups and tone nobs. I will also do one with an IR so you can get a sense of how they can bring some body into the sounds. And one with the IR and a small bit of reverb which is how I would normally actually use the instrument.
