Top is solid and colored spruce / Back and sides are Brazilian rosewood and laminated, which is stronger and more resistant to moisture and temperature changes and have no bad effect on the sound – in my experience. But there is a lot of myths – also in the guitar-world.

The Romeo models (1, 2, 3 ) named after the founder of the company Romeo Di Giorgio are part of the Professional Series. Produced during the 1960s into the 1970s & beyond. Small changes in the rating of the wood, changes the sonority of the Romeo 1, 2 & 3 models.
