Very rare DOD pedal from the 1990's, a real underrated classic of a pedal, there just isn't many of these around. This is an amazingly wide band Flanger named after the Jet Plane, "747". This flanger though is no one trick pony. Based on analogue delay circuits, it can be very subtle to Jet Plane Flanging. Does an ultra-warm ''double track effect' chorus beautifly (using the same analogue chips as the original Boss CE-2 Chorus BBD MN3007 and  MN3101. Also subtle to outrageous vibrato, and its stereo!  Features 4 simple knobs, and is as easy to dial in a great sound as it is fun to experiment with. The FX747 controls are all labelled in the pedals mind set: Payload (Level), Mach (Speed), Altitude (Width) and Thrust (Regen). Its claim to fame when this pedal was released is the fact that the Speed control has a larger range than most flangers, allowing you to get super-slow flange speeds, to play “into” the effect, rather than “with” it. The FX747 is capable of making subtle, tasteful overtone sounds to borderline obnoxious, swirling  jet engine swooshes, with a great spectrum of sounds in between for a multitude of excellent flange effects. Tremendous fun! Amazing condition for its age and fully serviced. Original Box has become lost.
