Manuel Contreras started his career working in the Ramirez workshop in the late 1950s. But he wanted to build his own instruments and soon started his own workshop. The Contreras workshop was later run by Manuel Contreras II who built guitars with the same quality, craftsmanship and innovation as his father.
This Mastermade N4 from 1993 is a perfect example of Contreras' high quality standards, because the guitar has the powerful and robust sound that is so characteristic of Spanish instruments. With beautiful dynamics and projection with sufficient volume, this guitar is a pleasure to play and listen to. Thanks to the built-in pickup system, the guitar also comes into its own when amplified.
The guitar has playwear on the top, neck and headstock, but is in excellent condition considering its age. The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
Consignment.
