Up for sale is an original 1952-1953 Bigsby pickup. This is the real deal! Hand made by Paul Bigsby in Downey California. Bigsby is considered the father of the modern solid body electric guitar and his guitars and pickups are highly sought after and rarely come up for sale. This one works great and is in good used condition. Bigsby pickups typically read about 3k on a meter but are much louder than a modern pickup with the same reading. There are some decent current boutique copies but nothing that matches the sound of the original! I’ve had a project in mind for this pickup for a couple years and I’m just not going to get to it so it’s time to let it go.
