The Rickenbacker legacy

A seed first sewn in 1939 by Adolph Rickenbacker, it's since grown to become one of the most distinctive guitars of all time. It's no wonder John Lennon swore by it. During his early days with The Beatles, the Rickenbacker became a signature of his and suited the jangly pop songs he was performing - it was unlike any other guitar being played at the time. The sweet, bright tone provided the perfect backdrop to Jeff Buckley's powerful melancholic voice. This instrument's ability to adapt to a wide range of genres across the decades is truly remarkable. Experience it today...

Product Overview
One of Rickenbacker's most popular models, the semi-hollowbody 330 stormed onto the scene in the '50s and brought with it a jangly tone that would help define pop music for a decade. Like most Rickenbackers, the 330's popularity was propelled by the Beatles (though George's most iconic Rickenbacker was actually a 360-12). The 330 remains in production and has been cited as the maker's current most popular guitar.

In 2014, Rickenbacker introduced a Walnut version of the 330 (along with several other models) using a Walnut body with Maple neck and fingerboard.
