For sale is a 2008 Huss & Dalton TD-M Solid Spruce Top Dreadnought with original hardshell case in excellent condition. Serial Number 2802, hand-built with soul and precision in Staunton, VA. This TD-M stands tall among a landscape of traditional style dreadnoughts with the classic response of a Martin D design plus a new level of clarity and articulation. Minor fretwear, minor finish wear (see photo series), beautiful structural condition overall and playing easily at standard acoustic spec. Weight 4 lbs 6 oz. From Huss & Dalton:
Our TD-M has the understated look of a traditional mahogany guitar, but has a sound that is anything but understated. Flat-top construction, a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides are standard, subtly decorated with tortoise-style binding and four-line top purfling. The TD-M combines the power of the rosewood TD-R with a warmer, more balanced tonal spectrum that may leave you breathless.
Virginia's Huss and Dalton began producing high-end acoustic instruments in 1995 using a combination of traditional and modern techniques. The CM model is a smaller-bodied acoustic with deep sides and a soft cutaway. It is made with either Rosewood or Mahogany as the primary body wood.
