Lynx Aurora 16 16-Channel Mastering AD/DA Converter + LT-FW FireWire card

For sale is a Lynx Aurora 16 16-Channel AD/DA Converter with optional LT-FW FireWire card. The unit is in excellent physical condition except for some minor rack rash on the bottom (shown in photos) and is in full working order. Please note that cables are not included. This listing is just for the rack unit shown.

The Lynx LT-FW FireWire card provides up to 32 channels of analog and digital I/O at 96 kHz over a single FireWire connection. Other Lynx L-slot cards are available on the second hand market, and the LT-FW card can be swapped out if USB, ProTools-HD, or other digital interface formats are desired. (NOTE: This listing only includes the Aurora 16 converter with the installed LT-FW card)

This unit was well cared-for in a smoke free studio, and will be carefully packed with lots of bubble wrap in a heavy duty box.

This converter sounds amazing and has been used on many great-sounding records, including Daft Punk’s album “Random Access Memories”.
