About This Listing

A great combo amp made in the early to mid 1970s from Fender. My band Remo Drive bought the amp from Minnehaha Recording Studios in August 2021. Custom Road Case built for the amp in September 2021. Went on tour November 2021. Has been lightly used since for recording projects, and most recently fully serviced by Twin Town Guitars in July 2023. Just looking to get an amp that’s a different flavor then what this bassman offers. Looking to sell locally - would consider shippin, but most likely would be expensive due to size and weight.

Fender Bassman 10 2-Channel 50-Watt 4x10" Guitar Combo 1972 - 1976

The Fender Bassman Ten is a stage-ready Silverface combo amp with four 10" speakers and 50 watts of pure, classic tone. Yes, it's kinda big and yes, it's kinda heavy, but crank the gain on one of these no-frills master volume amps and you'll wonder why you don't see more of them on the touring circuit. As with all Bassman amps, these tend to find more favor with guitar players thanks to their pleasing breakup, but if you're a bass player who doesn't mind a little wool on your sound (and really, who doesn't?) then this could be the bargain vintage amp you've been waiting for.
